Played around with some watercolors for backgrounds today on a couple pieces between finishing up some more cards. This one didn't take me too long.

Figure colored with markers.

They're a little more expensive than Prismacolors, but they're refillable. And you can get some good effects with them.

I think the watercolor background really looks fantastic! It's a very nice effect that certainly gives off a great sense of movement.
